Born and raised in Germany, I have traveled across the world and studied in Japan and the United States to learn about people, cultures and languages. I will continue my adventures this summer when moving to the Netherlands to start my professional life as an intercultural educator.

I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Intercultural Communication at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. My expected graduation date is May 2017. Prior to my time in Philadelphia I graduated from the University of Munich in Germany with a bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies and Art History. During my time in Munich I spent a year abroad at Doshisha University in Kyoto for a year where I discovered my love for intercultural communication and education.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania I will be moving back home to Europe. I am looking forward to pursue a career that gives me the opportunity to share my love for the arts and intercultural communication with others and that provides me with the possibility to inspire people to look at the world from new and unfamiliar perspectives.

In my spare time I enjoy museum visits, cooking and traveling. All photos on this website have been taken by either me or my husband during one of our travels.
